How to Fight the Cuts in Lambeth – Saturday 20th Nov

Posted: November 16, 2010 by lambethsaveourservices in Meeting

After our hugely successful rally in Brixton last month our next event is a public meeting and workshops to discuss ways of fighting the cuts to services in Lambeth. We want everyone to come join us at:

12pm at St Matthews Tenants Hall – St Matthews Road SW2 1NH – Brixton – United Kingdom

The format for the event will be:

  • Short introduction
  • Discussion workshops in small groups:
    1. Keeping the NHS Public
    2. No to Cuts in Housing Benefits and Welfare
    3. No to Cuts in Housing
    4. No to academies: Stop the privatisation of education
  • Groups share their ideas and feedback
  • Close and announcements (hopefully finish by 2pm)

We think it is really important that everybody comes, gets to share their ideas and hear what others have to say. We need to build a plan for our future work and we need your help so please come along and contribute!

If you want to help spread the word download our flyer and share it with everyone you know. We will be doing flyering in the run up so check out the discussion list and join us.

Before the meeting/workshop we plan to lobby the Lambeth Labour: All members meeting at 10am at the town hall. If you want to help then email
